Acer goes bananas, launches 15 new products in one go






At Acer's global press conference in New York, the company unveiled a staggering 15 new products in one go including new gaming laptops, updates to their Aspire range of laptops, new 2-in-1's, desktops as well as 4K monitors.
Here is a complete breakdown of all products launched:

Two new Swift laptops

Acer unveiled two new additions to its swift Series of ultra slim notebooks - Acer Swift 3 and Swift 5.
Acer Swift 3
The Swift 3 features a brushed-aluminium body and comes with 7th generation Intel Core processors, Intel HD or NVIDIA GEForce graphics, 10 hours of battery life and up to 8GB of RAM. The laptop comes with either a 14-inch or 15.6-inch FullHD IPS display, 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac wireless technology, USB 3.1 and the option of either a 512GB SSD or a 1TB HDD.
Acer Swift 1
The Swift 1 features an all-metal chassis and comes with an Intel Pentium of Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, a 64/128/256GB SSD, a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display and upto 10 hours of battery life. The Swift 3 series starts from $599  and the Swift 1 series starts from $329.

Gaming laptops and monitors

Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop
The Helios 300 comes with either a 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch FullHD display and is powered by 7th generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processors paired with overclockable NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050Ti graphics.

The laptop features an iron red backlit keyboard and comes with Dual AeroBlade 3D fans and PredatorSense software, which makes GPU overclocking and system control easy. The Predator Helios 300 will be available in North America in July starting at $1,299.
Predator Triton 700 gaming laptop
The Triton 700 is the first device in Acer's new Predator Triton ultrathin gaming notebook series. It comes with 7th Generation Intel Core processors and latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics enclosed in an aluminium chassis. The device features AeroBlade 3D metal fans that increase airflow by 35 percent whilst taking up less space within the device.
Predator X27 and Predator Z271UV gaming monitors
Equipped with Quantum Dot technology, both monitors offer a significantly wider, brighter and more accurate color range, with the Predator X27 supporting 99 percent of the Adobe RGB color space, and Predator Z271UV covering 130 percent of the sRGB color space. Both monitors provide smooth and stutter-free gameplay thanks to NVIDIA G-SYNC technology on board.

Acer Switch 5

The Switch 5 2-in-1 comes with 7th generation Intel Core i7 and i5 processors and operates without fans. The device also comes with Acer's patented auto-retracting kickstand, which allows the Switch 5's viewing angle to be adjusted effortlessly with just one hand.

Acer Aspire U27

Acer Aspire U27 features an ultrathin (12mm) chassis with a diamond cut v-shaped metal stand. Like the Switch 5, it also operates without fans. It comes with a 27-inch Full HD wide angle display which alongside the integrated subwoofer, make it perfect for multimedia consumption.

ProDesigner 4K LED monitor

The new ProDesigner PE320QK monitor incorporates Acer HDR Xpert technology for exceptional contrast, and features an attractive ZeroFrame design. Acer claims that it has been made keeping design-minded professionals in mind.

Four new Aspire laptops

Acer Aspire 1
The Aspire 1 laptop, built with students and families in mind, comes with a 14-inch display, Intel Celeron or Pentium processors, 32/64GB of eMMC storage, 4GB of RAM, Inte HD Graphics and upto 9 hours of battery life. The Acer Aspire 1 series will be available in North America in June starting at $219.
Acer Aspire 3
The Aspire 3 comes with either a 14-inch HD, 15.6-inch HD or 15.6-inch Full HD display, Intel Core, Celeron or Pentium processors, upto 12GB of memory, and Acer's BlueLightShield technology, which reduces the exposure of blue light that causes eye strain.The Acer Aspire 3 series will be available in North America in June starting at $299.
Acer Aspire 5
The Aspire 5 comes with 7th generation Intel Core processors, latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics, upto 20GB of DDR4 RAM, a 15.6 HD/Full HD display and an option of either a SSD( up to 256GB) or an HDD ( up to 2TB). The Acer Aspire 5 series will be available in North America in June starting at $449.
Acer Aspire 7
At the top of the Aspire line sits the Aspire 7, which comes with 7th generation Intel Core processors, up to NVIDI GeForce GTX 1060 graphics, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, Dolby Audio Premium support, an HD camera and an option of either a SSD (up to 512GB) or an HDD (up to 2TB).
The laptop is offered in two display sizes - 15-inch and 17-inch. The Acer Aspire 7 series will be available in North America in June starting at $799

Two new 4K projectors

Acer also launched two 4K Ultra High-Definition projectors (H7850 and V7850) which feature HDR support. The company claims they are suitable for both media consumption and content creation
